Being an encourager means seeing the good in every person.

It means seeing the value of every individual you encounter even when no one else can see it. It means helping others nurture their strengths, lifting them up in times of difficult moments, and inspiring them to bounce back from adversity.

Being an encourager means believing that every person has something valuable to offer.

It means making the world a better place by planting seeds of hope, kindness, and healing to every person you encounter.

Being an encourager means being brave to be vulnerable in sharing and connecting with others. It means having the capacity to give comfort and joy; it means having the capacity to soothe souls.

Being an encourager means you don’t just say nice words but really say them with intentionality to help transform people’s lives. It means being courageous in putting yourself up there open for judgment.

Being an encourager means having empathy. It means understanding that we all struggle. It means choosing to dwell on God’s goodness despite the world’s bitterness.

Being an encourager means despite being imperfect yourself,

you choose to encourage anyway.
